SAC LEGACY COMMITTEE

Chairman – Pete Rolle

A SAC graduate from the class of 84 and also Chairman of Executive Committee of the St. Augustine’s College Alumni Association. CEO of S.C. Networkaz Solutions Ltd. which provides comprehensive solutions for networking. S.C. which stands for Structured Cabling can design, install, support and manage all your network needs. With over 30 years experience in technology we continue to Build Network Excellence. As an Alumni member it gives me pleasure to serve on the board to give back to SAC.

SECRETARY – Benson O.M.A. Russell

Benson is a proud member of SAC Class of ’84 and a member of the great Seton House. Immediately upon graduation from SAC, he became a member of the Royal Bahamas Police Force. His strong moral values, entrenched by his family and Sister Eileen Kelly, helped him to survive the wild days of illicit drug dealing in the 1980’s unscathed. During his time on the Force, he became a specialist in financial intelligence. Upon retirement from the Force, he became a specialist in personal protection for VIP visitors to The Bahamas. He has served as bodyguard for a veritable list of Who’s Who in Hollywood and several members of European and Arab royal families.

Benson is currently employed with a local financial regulator and is the proud father of a son and a daughter, the equally proud stepfather of two daughters and the silly proud grandfather of Amari and Arielle.

Member – Vernice Cargill-Russell ’85

SAC graduate of the Class of 1985, Vernice Cargill-Russell is the proud mother of three SAC alumni.  She joined the St. Augustine’s staff in 2005 and is currently the Head of SAC’s Religion Department.  Additionally, this former Alcuin House captain has stepped into the shoes of Alcuin House moderator.  Her love for sports is displayed in her role as both softball and volleyball coach for the junior girls teams. She has attained 8 championship titles over her 10 years of coaching.

Member – Keri Josey

Keri is a proud member of SAC Class of ’05 and an equally proud member of Bernard House. Always having a love for numbers, she easily transitioned into the field of Accounting in which she holds a Bachelors degree. Keri has always supported the efforts of SACA by purchasing tickets or alumni branded items where available. She is pleased to be a member of the Legacy Committee to continue service to her alumni and alma mater.

Keri is currently employed with a local financial regulator, but through her enterprising spirit, she is also owner and operator of Georgie Bundle, a specialty gift company. She is the doting mother of one daughter.

Member – Anastasia Brown

Anastasia Brown is a proud graduate of the Class of 1989 of St. Augustine’s College. A passion for her alma mater led her to teach at SAC from 1995 to 1997. Since graduating from SAC, she has been an avid supporter of the school as well as the SAC Alumni Association where she served as assistant secretary for approximately two years and is currently one of the SACA representatives for her class.

She is currently employed as the Director of Testing Services and is an adjunct faculty in the School of Business, Tourism and Hospitality Studies at the University of The Bahamas. She is currently pursuing her doctor’s degree in Educational Leadership with a focus on Organizational Development.

Member – Kendria Ferguson

A graduate of the SAC Class of 2005, Kendria Ferguson holds a Master’s Degree in Sustainable Energy from the University of South Florida. Since graduating, she has worked Bahamas Government Ministry of Environment and Housing where I project managed a national campaign to ban select plastics projects and develop strategies to increase renewable energy into the public sector building design and Government subdivisions.

Most recently, Kendria has embarked on a new career as an Executive Direction for Hands for Hunger, focused on tackling hunger, food security and reducing food waste in The Bahamas.

Member – Theophilus Moss

Theophilus Moss is a graduate of the St. Augustine’s College Class of 2012 and an All-Merit Scholar. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from The Johns Hopkins University along with several other educational credentials in accounting, financial management, business administration, and investing. He currently works as a consultant specializing in technology and management.
